Somatics at Sea
An Intimate Blue Therapy Journey for Women
Saturday, August 15 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Kawaihae Harbor
There is something profoundly healing about gathering with women on the water.
The ocean has always brought women together- to gather, to nourish, to grieve, to celebrate, to remember. This morning is an invitation to continue that tradition.
Join somatic practitioner Marisa Youngblood and Captain Kelsey for an intimate morning at sea. Limited to just six women, this experience is intentionally designed to create space for meaningful connection-with yourself, with one another, and with the living world.
Together, we'll explore our relationship with water as the element that connects all life. Through somatic practices, sound healing, and moments of quiet presence, we'll notice how the body responds as the nervous system shifts from movement into stillness, from striving into being.
Inspired by the growing field of Blue Therapy, this experience draws on research showing that time on and around water calms the nervous system, reduces stress, improves mood, and cultivates a sense of awe and belonging. Out on the open ocean, the water becomes more than a beautiful setting; it is part of the practice itself.
Just as healing happens in relationship with nature, it also happens in relationship with one another. Within this small circle of women, you'll be invited to experience the quiet power of being witnessed, supported, and connected- just as you are.
Whether you arrive seeking restoration, clarity, community, or simply a morning to breathe, you'll leave with salt on your skin, a fresh perspective, and a deeper sense of connection.
